A batch code is a set of characters (usually a combination of letters and numbers) printed on the packaging by cosmetic manufacturers to identify the production batch. The specific production date and shelf life information of the product can be queried through the batch code.

It is usually located at the bottom of the outer packaging box, the bottom of the bottle, on the bottle label, or at the embossed end of the tube. It is generally separated from the barcode and is mostly a printed/embossed combination of letters + numbers.

Skin care products are usually 3 years, and makeup products are 3-5 years. However, please note that after opening the product, refer to the "open cap symbol" (such as 6M, 12M) on the packaging, which means it should be used up within 6 or 12 months after opening.
